The July meeting had a good turn out with 11 of our members, who were very glad of the community centres air conditioning on a very hot day.
Watts Crossing was having more scenic work done to it with two boards being worked on. Work was being done finishing off some roads on an end board and also completing a very nice 'Freeway Overpass' with some nice detailing touches. I'm sure it won't be long before some 'taggers' are along to spoil all that new concrete.
Guys Cuttings was put up in DCC mode and this allowed other members to run their stock, with a nice selection of UK and US outline on display. Of note was one of the new Athearn Big Boys pulling several new Kato Maxi-I 5 Car Twin Stacks and a 3D Printed 'Interurban' trolley bus, based on prototypes stored at the Illinois Railway Museum (http://www.irm.org) in Union close to Chicago.
